This is the first full length Chiang Valley Liberator release for over a year and is another dive into rhythmic electronica from the smoking, filthy underbelly of UK experimentalism.

Torn directly from the aether, this collection of sounds is a manifestation of the sense of despair at the Human Condition; a confirmation that our species is an evolutionary failure and that our path is covered in our own waste...maybe.

The fires are burning today, be they the fires of social conflict: the polarisation, hatred, greed and insularity that increasingly characterises common discourse; the fires of political decay: the lies, the corruption, the incompetence; the fires resultant of our wilful destruction of our habitat: collective inability to take our foot off the gas, racing to the finish - re-cycling plastic containers whilst tacitly (or otherwise) supporting the endless stupidity of pro-patria nationalism, global militarism and aggression. Have a think about the environmental effect of the world's war machine and reflect on the consequences...

But this record is not only about doom - we hope that it can be uplifting too - filling your soul with the energy to do something good today, to be friendly, to play a small part in bending our trajectory toward a better conclusion...
